BASIC SECURITY ON STEEM

In a world of fast technological advancement there is need to protect some vital informations that can be in form of keys or passcodes that could permit one to access others account and thus an exposure to being hacked or ripped.

Steem moving higher in the crypto world has needs to be well secured and as such they are various keys made to coordinate activities of a particular account. These keys are sent to individuals upon registration and it's left for one to protect them at all cost.

VARIOUS KEYS ON AN ACCOUNT IN STEEMIT

TRON PUBLIC KEY: This key is used for transfers and furthermore it is the address to which tokens are sent.

TRON PRIVATE KEY : This private key has the highest authority on your TRON account. It is used for signing transactions of TRON such as transferring tokens, freezing and voting.

There is also certain private keys called steemit private keys. They include

Tron private key ; This private key has the highest authority on your TRON account. It is used for signing transactions of TRON such as transferring tokens, freezing and voting.

Private posting key : used to log in to apps such as steemit.com and perform social actions such as posting, commenting and voting.

Private memo key; used to decrypt private memos

Private active key ; used for monetary and wallet related actions such as transferring tokens or powering steem up and down.

Private owner key : this key is used to reset all other keys. It is recommended to keep it offline at all times. If your account is compromised, use this key to recover it within 30 days.

Steemit public keys : These are used to encrypt messages ,they are associated with username.

Master password: Can be used to recover a lost account.

Yes I have , and also kept them secured as part of basic security.

Yes I do. The first key I used was the private posting key required to login and perform social Actions.

How do you plan to keep your master password ?

It's of great importance hence I save it both online and offline.

Do you know how to transfer your steem token to another steem user account ?

Yes I can .

Do you know how to power up your steem ?

Yes I do. A steem is converted to steem power using this process .
