My introduction

INTRODUCTION

Hi everyone, its nice to meet you all in the steemit platform. In this post, I will be introducing myself.

My name is Inemesit Bernard Ekong, I am a young woman in my late 20s. I was born and raised in a middle-class family in Akwa Ibom state. I am the first child in a family of five. I just concluded my youth service program in Ekiti state, Nigeria, where I answered the clarion call to serve my father land. (It was such a wonderful time, I hope to talk more about it in some future post)

AREA OF STUDY AND WORK

I had my primary school and high school education in Akwa ibom State, Nigeria. I then studied French / Computer Science in College of Education, and had an NCE certification, still craving for more knowledge, I proceeded to the University of Uyo where I had my first degree (B.ED), and graduated with a good result as well. I have been teaching for over six years, and I Love teaching, I guess that makes me a teacher. I have attended lots of seminars, and read wide to broaden the scope of my knowledege in the profession; the trainings has sharpened my skills a lot in this field.
Presently, I am teaching French in one of the most highly recognized schools in my state. I so much dream of owning a school someday; because I have worked in several private schools and gathered enough knowledge and experience to help me run a well equipped and standard school with student graduating with enterpreneural skills (story for another day).

MY HOBBIES AND PASSION

I love cooking. In fact, cooking is part of me and that was enough to describe me as a cook. Sometimes I even volunteer to cook for everyone in the family house where i reside in Ekiti, and these guys are always happy whenever I am in the kitchen. As related to my profesion, I love reading, teaching and learning new things. Despite my busy schedule, I try as much as I can to read at least a paragraph of text before going to bed. I also enjoy listening to varieties of well written novels I love singing as well; whenever I am around, be rest assured of good music filtering into the atmosphere

VENTURING INTO CRYPTO

As earlier mentioned, I love to learn new things, I heard about Crypto and have started learning about it. Though it is a complete new package for me, I have a good coach who is willing to teach and brush me up, till I can stand alone, kudos to my teacher, I hope I will learn faster than I thought. I love every bit of it. However, I know that the more I learn about crypto, the more my knowledge and understanding about it will be widen.

My DISLIKES

I hate lies, dishonesty and pride. I always crave for a situation where I can trust everyone and take them for their words but lies makes it impossible, and dishonesty adds to it, making it worst. I also love to be simple but proud people makes being simple look weak.

My area of interest

I will like to see whatever material they post, ranging, from education, life, work, career motivation, personal experiences, entertainment, culture, crypto, social media, sports etc.

l will be creating posts about my life experience, fictional stories, poems, area of work, culture, entrepreneur, family news, my country etc., hobbies and passion and whatever catches my fancy because I like exploring new opportunities.

How I found this platform

I found steemit through my friend @manuelhooks. He was my colleague and he is really a pro in the digital world. Anything from him is sure and worth trying. I hope to learn about crypto currency and to share what I have learnt with others.

In conclusion, this is my first post I hope to write about the diary of a Youth Corps member in Ekiti State. Manuel Hooks, I appreciate you for introducing me to this wonderful platform, I hope to make you proud.
