This caption is a distant view of the execution hill of kom in the 70s .It is called "Tihbelih" ,a hill of reckoning,a hill of waterloo,a hill of doom for defaulters who went against the laws of the the tribe by commiting sacrilegious acts like consistent socery, and the most terrible and unforgiving one was a man who had laid with the fon,s wife. One of the three laws of the kom land was "Do not commit adultery " This law existed even before christianity came in with the same version. Therefore this act was punishable by death especially the fon,s wife.
This hill is found at Laikom ."Tibelih" is the position or spot on the deadly hill top where defaulters were rolled down . This execution process was carried out when an individual was found guilty of a serious crime .
A poisenous concoted portion was handed to the accused to swallow. If he threw up ,he was not guilty of the aligation .If he did not throw up,he was then guilty of the crime .Therefore,he was handed over to "Gvi" for execution. Most men met their doom on this hill because of illicit affaires they had with the fon,s wives. This manner of punishment, was later changed from rolling to banishment or Isolation.
