What is plagiarism?

Plagiarism occurs they you claim ownership of any work.Plagiarism is a serious crime that would be avoiding the all cost.

Types of Plagiarism

They are different types of plagiarism
In which we explained some

(1)MOSAIC PLAGIARISM
Mosaic plagiarism occurs when an author utilises the identical concepts and phrases from another person's work to create a new article without properly citing it. In most examples of plagiarism, the work appears to be "fresh," but the thoughts and language are not. There are no reference markers in other words that belong to someone else. It could also be the usage of words with similar meanings to those used by an author, as well as the use of the same order, resulting in the same content meaning.

(2)SELF PPLAGIARISM

When you use an old/prior work for any form of new achievement or for new purposes without first obtaining permission from the receiver of the previous work you did, you are committing self plagiarism. Self-plagiarism occurs when you reuse previously submitted work in one community and then utilise it in another.
(3)Direct Plagiarism
When someone plagiarises someone else's work verbatim without citing the source, this is known as direct plagiarism.. On Steemit, it is not permitted.
Plagiarism is the act of taking someone else's work or a quote and not properly crediting the sources.

(4)Complete plagiarism
Plagiarism occurs when I take someone else's research and present it under my own name.

(5)Accidental plagiarism
This is another prevalent scenario. When you don't properly credit the text or image source, or when you misquote an author.

How to Avoid plagiarism

Always keep track of where you received the information for your project. You must read and digest a subject independently in order to express it in your own words. When conductef research and take notes for your work, make a note of the source of every part of information you come.

Quote and paraphrase

If you wish to transmit a notion or piece of information from a source in your work, you must either paraphrase or quote the original text.

WHAT IS CITATION?

When you utilise terms that aren't your own or have already been used in a piece, you must cite them to show that they aren't your own. Citation is the act of giving out or writing down the websites where you get your sources for your papers, as we've seen.
Example
According to law of gravity
(Whatever rises must inevitably fall.)

How to cite a text

When you want to cite a text, you'll type the title of the text or the author's name into Google to find it, and you'll be able to read or download it once you find it.

Conclusion

I have read and understand steemit etiquette on steemit community,I will do my best to embrace them.
