Hello Steemains. This is The Prince. Known as @nzecompass1 on Steemit though birthed as Kenneth Prince Chigozirim, heir to the Kenneth Dynasty, an emerging powerful clan of rulers, descendants of the great Emperor, Kenneth Obidinma Chinyere, deep in the Eastern Heartland of Imo State, Federal Republic of Nigeria.
I am the first of six children, a brother(immediate younger), and four sisters. My family resides in the city of Aba, Abia State. A city known for its doggedness in Industry and Enterprise. The Enyimba city. A place where almost any output of production can be replicated. A place reputed for it's shoe making prowess and housing Nigeria's and West Africa's leading International Market. A place of low and high life, ghetto areas, G.R.As, and any possible form of life.
I had my early life in Aba, Abia State. Passed through over five different schools in the completion of my nursery, primary, and secondary school education. Well, what can I say, I had a knack for mischief and would soon exit any school I felt threatened in, always cloaking my reason for choosing to withdraw to Papa under the cloak of a dilapidating academic structure and standard. I was always suspended from school and though my mischief and obstinacy knew no bounds, I was never asked to ultimately leave and was soon missed immediately I took my leave off a school for sake of my impressive academic performances(teachers could never really understand this) and my commitment to extra curricular activities alongside external and internal academic competitions, including my popularity among junior colleagues. I was their man and fan.
I school currently at The University of Port Harcourt, chasing a degree in English and Literary Studies. The University of Port Harcourt is a great institution birthing some of Nigeria's and the World's finest. It is alma matter to Ex-President Goodluck Jonathan of Nigeria and former Miss World, Agbani Derego, 2001.
The city of Port Harcourt itself is one lovely place. One of Nigeria's most prominent cities, it is filled with the hustles and bustles of different sectors of live. A city famed for it's revel in entertainment and politics, alongside fraternal associations. To survive in the city is a struggle: you are either stinkingly rich, or politically conscious, or you belong to a frat or you have spiritual backings or you are just smart, knowing a little of everything, knowing the languages and dogma of every sector. "Who goes there?",will be the first question to expect for any newbie venturing to become part of the city.
I am a writer, though I do mostly Poetry and Spoken Word Art. I write a whole lot of poems and I've got a collection to my curriculum vitae.
I have also done a lot of presentations on Spoken Word Art, mostly in church alongside a crew of mighty artists in the world of speech, the pen, and paper.
I have taught as a secondary school teacher in a couple of schools, and I have been a private home lesson teacher on few occasions.
Currently I am a caterer, I do part time cooking and baking to earn a living. I learned this at WAWA BAKERS, Aba, Abia State.
I'm also part of a cleaning agency, MajorUltra Clean Services. We get paid to clean houses, apartments, offices, hotels, and various organizations. Though the work also is part time.
I am a creature of habit and I'd love to read a good book any day. I also love writing, dancing, swimming, hanging out, and eating. I love meat a lot. One might not like me at first glance but the pleasure of my company is hardly a lair one would have a hard time escaping once captured within it's groves....
I am so delighted to be part of the Steemit community. My gratitude goes deeply to my mentor and the one who introduced me to the community, @kelechisamuel. I feel it's going to be an experience for me, alongside it's educating advantage for it definitely encourages research, creativity, rational thinking and content developing. The financial goal is also not to be underrated. I'm really glad to be here. I look forward to working with everyone and leaving a mark on your walls.
