Good day great people, I am so excited to be here and I count it a great privilege, I'm @ob-peter and I am also very happy to see that my verification 2 has been Verified, Today I will be writing on my view about content etiquette.
Content etiquette general-wise refers to a specific protocol that people follow or embrace in making their view accepted, and with regards to the Steemit platform, I believe it is also the specific acceptable methodology that persons on the steemit platform must be aware of to prepare and produce content before uploading it in either their blog or other communities on steemit.
What is plagiarism
Plagiarism, in my opinion, is the act of stealing someone else's intellectual property, which could include but is not limited to writeups, images, and innovative talents, and presenting it as one's own for profit or reward.,to get a better understanding you can click on the cited link below."Plagiarism means to pass off someone else’s work, intentionally or unintentionally, as your own. This might be by copying or paraphrasing someone's published or unpublished work without proper acknowledgment or representing someone's artistic or technical work or creation as your own." source
In general, there is always a reward for creativity, and on steemit, the rewards can take the form of upvoting, vote esteem, attracting friends, and the likes, all of which I believe can be earned if our content is unique and creative, and other sources from which we learn in one way or another are properly cited (Acknowledged).
What is citation
Citation is more than just writing a quote or making reference to the author (creative owner) of the resources or content you are posting as your own for the sake of rewards and the likes such as images, write-ups, or the likes, there are proper Protocol citation follows and with regards to steemit platform is as follows.Every type of copied and pasted text must be either in quotes" "or formatted using the appropriate markup code to acknowledge the creative sources. such as seen below.
"A front-end developer is someone who works on software, like desktop or mobile websites, that users interact with. Specifically, a front-end developer spends time on the side of technology that the user touches and sees"sourcein addition, Every word or phrase paraphrased from the source should have a reference close to it better still immediate to the paraphrased word as seen below.
The front end is sometimes known as the client side, or the user interface in a broader sense."The front end is also commonly referred to as the client side, or more broadly speaking, the user interface."source
The operating system of any device is nothing more than a bridge between the user and the device's hardware components. To interact with an electronic device, the operating system provides a GUI vs CLI user interface. Some operating systems include both GUI and CLI, while others only include CL.source
The three examples can be applied to each of our daily posts, such as including images from the canvas. com, pixel, Unsplash, and other free image sources. The best way to do this is to include the image source link to acknowledge the author's efforts. such as seen below.

In conclusion, I, @ob-peter, will do everything in my power to comply to the steemit platform's content etiquette by following the Rules and saying no to plagiarism. "I have read and understood the Steemit Etiquette on Steemit Community and will do my best to embrace them" source
