As humans, we eat when we get famished. This substance that we consume to revitalize us and keep us healthy is known as food. Food may either be liquid or solid.
In this article I will explain the meaning of food, food sources, classes and functions. Then I will briefly write about my favorite food.
Food is any substance when eaten nourishes the body, it could either be solid or liquid.
Food is any substance consumed to provide nutritional support for an organism. Food is usually of plant, animal, or fungal origin, and contains essential nutrients, such as carbohydrates, fats, proteins, vitamins, or minerals.link
Food is eaten to produce strength and maintain healthy growth in humans, plants and animals.

My favourite food is beans, I like beans so much because it is easy to prepare, I also like this food because it builds the body. I prefer to eat beans at lunch. I like eating beans with plantain, bread or yam. I also prefer taking my beans with fish sauce.
Food is essential to man, plants and animals. We need need food to make us healthy and strong, active and make us grow.
