Greetings everyone,
I feel so good about my gradual upgrade in this my achievement tasks.
I’m to complete my achievement task 4 which literally talks applying markdown.

Marking a headline
Making a headline in ones presentation is a sign of very good presentation.it helps create the awareness to the reader about the content of the presentation he/ she is to read.it gives a reader a brief information about the presentation.

To make a headline,The Hashtag sign(#) is kept at the beginning of the row of the sentence.

The number of of hashtags at the beginning of the the row of each sentence determines the size or nature of the headline and vice versa.

Below are samples of headlines:

NB: to make it work, the must be space between the hashtag and the sentence to be the headline.

Centering of a text

It is also called aligning a text to center.
This is applied to a text to make it be at the middle of our page.
This the command for that purpose;

Adding of code

There are different ways of adding of code and below one the ways of adding a code

1)This use of “ before and after the the command code in the sentence.
Eg: through . It appears as >>>>>> through

Adding of a subscript

It’s use to write note or give emphasis under a picture or text.
It’s also used to add texts or numbers at the below the baseline of a text.

This done by;

Quotes- Blockqoutes

Block quotes are use we are to copy the sayings or quotes of a popular person .
The sign > is kept infront of the quote or sentence.
Eg:

”Life is like riding a bicycle. To keep your balance you must keep moving”.

Making of text italic

This done by placing (*) star sign at the beginning and ending of our text. There must not be any space between the star sign and the text.

Making of text bold

This done by placing two of the (*) star sign at both the beginning and the end of our text.

Making a text both bold and italic

This is done by placing three of the (*) star sign at both the beginning and the ending of our text or sentence.
