What is Plagiarism

Plagiarism means ones inability to acknowledge the owner of a work, writing, ideas, after using it in his or her work. Even unpublished and published articles all have owners so it is proper to recognise the author of those articles when we use it.

Sometimes people even tries to outsmart the system and in society cases others are not aware and are caught in this process so it is important to discuss Plagiarism and to bring it to the attention of all who use people's work.

Types of Plagiarism

Ther are several ways through which people copy people's work so Plagiarism have many types.

Auto or Self Plagiarism

This is where you Plagiarise your own work or paraphrase part of your work, use your own words which has been used in different work without making any reference to the old work. This amounts to Plagiarism.

Complete Plagiarism

This is were the whole work of someone is used by another person without changing any word and claim it to be his own.

Accidental Plagiarism

The unintentional copy due to the fact that one neglected to acknowledge or attempts to paraphrase one's work without proper citation amounts to accidental Plagiarism.

Source-Based Plagiarism

The citation of incorrect source to one's work or source that does not exist at all.

Checking Plagiarism

How we can avoid Plagiarism

Producing original content is the key to avoiding Plagiarism
If ones creative ability is high Plagiarism would be less. original video, original pictures and content takes one away from Plagiarism
Video pictures and others material picked elsewhere should be be given the needed reference source cited correctly.
