Objective of this task

New users have knowledge on basic security on steem such as how their master password and can differentiate the use of their account posting key, active key,private owner key,and memo key.

New users understand the use of their steemit wallet.

HOW CAN I KEEP MY STEEM ACCOUNT SECURE?

Save your master password and keep it somewhere safe.
Only log into the account using the key with appropriate permissions for what you are doing.
Posting key:For every day logins
Active key: when necessary for transfer,power up,ect.
Save your master password and keep it safe,if logging in with your post key make sure you don't over write or misplace your master password.

WHY I SHOULD BECAREFUL WITH MY MASTER PASSWORD?

The master password are use to derive all keys to your account,including the owner the owner key.
If someone has access to your master password ,they can steal your account and all the token in it.

THE DIFFERENT TYPES OF KEYS

THE POSTING KEY:The posting key allows the account to post,comment,edit,vote,resteem,and follow or mute other accounts.
THE ACTIVE KEY:The active key are mentioned for not important tasks,such as transferring funds,power up and down transactions,converting steem Dollars ,voting for witness,updating profile details,and placing a market order.
THE OWNER KEY:One of the more important keys as general,as it can be used as a reset option for others key and it has to be save offline storage all the time.
THE MEMO KEY:It use for encrypting and decrypting memo when transferring funds. In other to encrypt a memo, use the pound # sign before it.

WHAT TO DO IF I LOST MY PASSWORD KEYS

There is no way to recover your account,if you lost your password or owner key .It very important to save your master password somewhere safe, were you will not lose it.

I have done that for all my keys and secure them safely .
2.Do you know the key function and it restriction?
Yes by reading the document created for my keys during registration,i was able to understand what the various keys created for my account are use for.
3How can you keep your masters password
I have secured my password both on the cloud using my Google drive account. I wrote it down in my personal dairy .
4.Can you transfer your steem token from your account to another steem user account.
Yes I have learnt how steem can be transferred, by going to my wallet.
Firstly I went under steem and clicked the transfer icon.
5.Can you power up your steem?
Yes I do
The amount of steem I want to power up is entered and then I click power up.
After power up the amount will be reflected on my steem icon.
It a privilege for me to no the basic of this keys which is really important to me.
