Contest: The Examination that scares me

Hi guys..

Am very excited to be among the participant here today the topic "The Examination that scares me"

Before I start I would love to confess, I am not really good in history part in the exam, I always try to avoid getting in a situation where by I will be quoting the passed.

Even though I don't like historical exams, It happens to be the only way we get tested to see whether we are qualify for a particular course of study. There are few exams that really scares me but am really pointing at history because it happen to be the most scariest exams I have ever taken, so am gonna share it with you.

This happen in my second year in the University. I was not really lucky because my lecturer happens to be the type that comes to class late, so this really discourage me sometime in taking the course serious. So when he finally come he will give us a topic to go an research about he happens to give view explanation about the topic, he will really emphasize that we should take note of the date while research that the date alone carries a lot of marks, I was really scared because I knew that reading too much is not really my thing.So when time for examination came it was like am in the middle of the desert, I didn't know where to start an how to end.

But I decided I write something, I wrote what I knew an let others be. It was my worst and scariest exam ever.

How did you react when you wrote the exam or after the exam?

_After I was done write all that I know, I decided to scan through if I would be able to check what my other class mate was writing, and to my greatest surprise he was attempting a different question entirely so I was stranded and I started telling self "is this how you will fail" I was scared I had no other option._

So the was this master student that was brought to help with the supervision, I didn't really notice I just over him calling my name, an to my greatest surprised I knew him "we attend the same church off campus" so he was like how is your exams going? I replied "brother to be sincere I don't know what am writing, he laughed at me a little bit an replied "don't worry I know what to do" he went around checking for my fellow student that has answered a the question correctly, he ask the person to come an sit close to me then took my partner that was sitting next down to the other person's sit.

So I tried my best to tap knowledge from the other student that was placed close to me, but even with the fact that I was guided I was still scared, untill the result came out.

Ofcourse, with what I experience I can never forget the exam, and I do remember my performance in the course.

So after we finished the exams I started praying that I should be favoured because I didn't have much Idea on that course, you know what? I was afraid to the extend that I started reaching out to my senior in the school asking them how the came about passing the course.

There told me that the course is simple that none of their class mate failed that if I answered the answers correctly that I will pass, me in the other was like I don't even know if what I wrote was right or wrong.

So few months later I receive a call from my friend in school that the result is out, I was really scared I couldn't even ask him what I scored, so I had to go over to the school admin block to checked the notice board when I got there I saw my name an registration number then I check for my score gracefully I passed, I was very excited I even shouted out of joy.

How did you handle your fears in that exam?

I tried to control my fear though, instead for be to panic i just decided to start with what I know.

But deep down I know that It was the grace of God that favours me, if that supervisor wasn't there or didn't know me I would have not gotten any assistance from anywhere, but deep down I believe that the will be a way out for me.
