Hello, greetings to all members of this community. i ve gone through a series of achievement in this community starting from achievement 1 (introduction) right up this point, the latest being on achievement 5-1: Review of steemworld.org. today i will be writing still on understanding stools but this time specifically on Review Steemscan.com
Making money in the crypto market is an interesting activity everyone else is excited about. Yes most people make millions of dollars on online platforms but the greatest problem many faced is converting money from blockchains platform into Fiat currency( Government issue money). One of the greatest aspect people faced is that they go for third parties for conversion and are either cheated upon or scammed. for instance when my friend join @steemit platform, he couldn't perform the withdraws himself, he had to transfer his steem to someone else account and paid in fiat money. But then he later discovered that he was severely cheated following the steem price at the moment. so it's important to perform your transactions by yourself. so lets get know what is steemcan and how it works.
steemscan is an exchange tool build on the steemit blockchain which is used to convert steem into varieties of cryptocurrencies such as USDT, BTC, TRX etc. steemscan was developed by @futureshock and @roadofrich. this site is a user friendly and can be understood easily by any one including newbie. Added to this there is no need for KYC(know your customer) verification to perform a transaction.
Now let's take a tour around the steemscan.com website.

FIrst thing i do is click on the links steemscan.com and i will be redirected to the interface below
from the above chat we see that the current steem price steem/USD is $0.22 and the current volume of steem in blockchain is $3,606. lets have a look at latest transaction and latest blocks

- the latest transaction permit us to see the various transactions happening on the blockchain including votes and comments
- the latest block shows the latest blogs which have not yet been validated by the network. once the data is validated the block will be closed. the last column on the right of the latest block chat show s the miners on various blocks. middle column the time of transaction executed

to vote for a Witness, click on the menu button, then click on Witness, list of witnesses will appear.pick a witness from the list and cast on your vote.
what is a Dapp |

Dapp means decentralized application, it is a digital application which runs on a blockchain network of computers instead of relying on a single source(computer). examples of a digital application is Bitcoin. Dapps are decentralized and open to public. coming soon we have a list of Dapps which would enable users to locate and use them in the future. i look forward to using the following Dapps, steemworld, steemscan and steemyy in future.
Quick convert and how to use this feature |

quick convert is a tool used to convert Steem to USDT, BTC, TRX. to perform a transaction using quick convert, use the following steps .
- click on menu
- navigate to the dashboard and click quick convert, a drop-down menu will appear.
- selected desire currency you want to convert say USD, BTC, TRX.
- copy and paste the receiver's address of the selected currency.
- click on create order and finally
- confirm your transaction by inputting your active key in the prompt login and your transaction is complete.
from the chat we can see that the different transaction fees are listed as follows
- USDT Fees : 1.04353517 USDT
- BTC Fees : 0.00050218 BTC
- TRX Fees : 0.64000000 TRX
To find a block, transaction, account or witness faster, simply type in any of these in the search area and you will be directed to the page of your desire.
