Two years ago, my elder sister Victoria from the University.
Ever since then, she has been dreaming of going for NYSC to finally complete her tertiary education process.
Some Months ago, she went for clearance at the University which she had earlier graduated from. Since then, so many batches of NYSC lists have been released but her name didn't appear on any of those lists.
So recently, a new batch of NYSC call-up list was released, luckily her name appeared on the list.
With this welcome news, the whole family was happy and we all celebrated and glorified God because Victoria is finally going for NYSC,wow this is something we have been waiting for.
A week later, Victoria left for the NYSC camp.
"The NYSC camp is a place where corps members go for orientation, they also engage in some early morning exercises known as morning drill.
They stay at the camp for the first five(5) weeks of their NYSC training".
The corps members are protected by soldiers at the camp. During this period, the feeding and maintenance of the entire NYSC members is handled by the federal government and each of the corps members is paid about 30,000 Naira for upkeep by the federal government.
Victoria has gone to be with the other corps members at the camp.
Here, she will get her full orientation and also engage in the morning drills/exercise. She will equally get her own payment of 30,000 Naira for upkeep from the federal government aswell.
Every morning, she calls to update us on w development currently happening at the camp, she tells us about the regular morning drills/exercise which is done early in the morning, she also narrates how her day went and assures us that she is okay and that we shouldn't worry about her welfare at the camp as she is doing fine.
Honestly, I am very happy that Victoria has finally gone for NYSC, at least now she is happy too and also she has reached the final level of education. After this stage, she can now say that she is done will school for good and can now go ahead to seek for job with her qualifications.
We pray she finishes in peace. To God be the glory. Thank you @Whitestallion for introducing me to this nice platform, I really appreciate your kindness.
