How many keys are there on steem?
I am @rexiano and I will like to share what I think about securing my passwords or keys in steem.
There are quite a number of keys on steemit which are to be kept save and secured which I will elaborate abit on and I also wish that by the end of you reading this post,you will be able to also make sure that you look out for ur passwords like it's life it self
Do you know and have retrieved all your keys on steemit!
As for me I have retrieved all my keys on steemit and also taking good care of them as well as taking serious measures to ensure that they are safe.I have learnt from steemit and my mentor who introduced me to this great platform @saxopedia who made me understand that without these keys I won't be able to perform any major task on the platform .
I have about four to five keys that I retrieved from steemit which are
• Master key
• Private key
• Private active key
• Private owner key
• Private memo
All the keys that I have listed above ,each and every one of them is super delicate and important .They also have various uses,some to perform particular or major task while some to perform morethan just one task.
Do you know each of these keys functions and restrictions!
I definitely do. I thank my mentor @saxopedia for taking time to walk me through the steemit security department and making sure I know how important They are.I am very greatful
Before performing task on the steemit community,Master Key Will Mostly be needed most at times and at times private key so be vigilant. All the keys are to be used at certain times and moments so don't minimize anyone and keep them safe
What's your plan on keeping your passwords safe!
As a young computer literate,I understand what it means by a password and I know how disastrous it could be if I was to loss one.All keys on steemit are extremely important and just like the key of the door you need them because without keys you can't enter your house.Am not going to think that any key is small or less valuable
Don't play with your keys or passwords they are very important
Do we know how important passwords are in general?
Passwords provide the first line defense against unauthorized access to your personal account or data or computer or personal information.The more protective you keep your steemit keys , the more protected your account will be.
You should make sure that while doing that you your self shouldn't forget or loss your keys because you won't be able to perform several task if not all on steemit without them if you do.
I may not have not have said alot but I believe the little I have said will help some of us on keeping our keys safe and being cautious about them.
Do you know how to power up your steem!
@saxopedia helped me understand that powering up builds my steem power and having more steem power allows you go comment and do tasks like posting too.
At first when I joined steemit some months ago,I was excited about powering down which would take a month to do so. But thanks to @saxopedia,who cautioned me about powering up instead which i think everyone should adopt so that we can encourage and make the platform interesting.
@saxopedia made me understand that @cryptokannon,@kiwiscanfly and @thegreens made him understand alot about steemit and it's various steem keys and other task. So I too I am very greatful to them and especially to @saxopedia.
