Hello my fellow steemians, how are you all doing hope you all are having a great time after having completed my achievement 3 which talks about content etiquette and give proper insight on plagiarism I want to move over to my achievement 4 which talks on applying markdowns.

While creating contents here on steemit it is highly crucial that our work be organised it aids legibility and proper understanding of the information being passed across. This process can be achieved by applying markdowns on contents that are being created and it is very essential that we steemians get a full grasp of what what these markdowns are and I will be sharing my knowledge on the markdowns that are available here on steemit.

The first markdown I'll be emphasizing on is,

APPLYING HEADER

The header depicted above is created by using the #(Hashtag) and also giving a single space using the space bar and its size can be decreased by increasing the number of #(Hashtags) the more the hashtag, the smaller the header you can go ahead and try it out.

BOLD

It's very easy to make some words bold and other words italic with Markdown.
this can be done using the double asterick before and after the word that is to be either italicized or made bold this markdown is highly crucial and it gives more detailing while making posts.

LISTING ITEMS

There are cases of items being required to be listed in a specific order and this can be done via the process outlined below.

To make a list of items while here on steemit, it can be done by Making use of the(*)the asterick then double spacing the item to be listed as shown below

• Item B
• Item C
• Item D

This is the listing of items in a disorderly manner and the opposite can be done also which I will be representing below and that is the listing of items in the orderly manner so as to keep it arranged also

This have been well elaborated to the best of my understanding another markdown I'll also elaborate on is the crossing out of a word and this can be done via the (~) symbol for example, any word that is preceded by two approximation marks and also followed by two approximation marks will appear crossed out.

Along the line a user might want to mention another steemian and this process can be done using the (@) when one makes use of the @ alongside the username of the steemian to be mentioned it automatically notifies the user that is being mentioned.

In conclusion the application of markdowns to our various works give it more credibility and also adds more information to it to aid easy understanding of what is to be communicated I specially want to thank @cryptokannon for her lesson on applying markdowns and I want to say it has been very enlightening through out the time I hope to see more from her as I move on to the next available task.
