Assalamu Alaikum Owa Rahmatullah,
Hello steemian, how are you all? Alhamdulillah I am fine. I am grateful and lucky to be here again to write in this beautiful community. I always learn something new whenever I create my achievement assignment. I am happy that my achievement 2 task was successfully verified. I am interested to advance and complete my achievement 3 task as I anticipate doing more in completing my further achievement task ahead.
Content Protocol
The content protocol is set rules, directions, guidelines, and concepts that help a content writer to write articles accordingly and with no default.
The Objective of this Task
- For beginners to gain knowledge on the concept of “Proof of Brain”.
- For Newbies to create quality content, this task will help.
- To gain essential knowledge to share something with others.
- To know the content of etiquette of the Steem community.
- To be creative and reliable.
Plagiarism
Plagiarism is the act of copying another person's/author's work be it text or images without indicating the source of the content copied. I see plagiarism as a process of copying and pest other people's work without permission.
When I studied at University, I studied a lot at night to prepare well for exams. I made notes on various topics. These notes were entirely my own making. One day in class, I took these notes that I made on my own. My classmates saw my notes and immediately started copying them without my permission. This matter gave me great pain at that time.
Then I did not know about plagiarism. I did not know that copying like this is a kind of plagiarism. While writing this achievement three tasks, I learned that stealing is wrong and we should all avoid this plagiarism.
Effect of Plagiarism
Plagiarism is a crime that dampens the ability of creativity and indicates unprofessionalism too. By plagiarism, we are unable to specify or grow our innovative genius.
Plagiarism destroys our willpower. Destroys our creativity. Makes us averse to labor.
Types of Plagiarism
I am going to be explaining some common types of plagiarism which include:
• Direct Plagiarism
As the name implies, this involves the direct repeating of another author's publication. Plagiarism, in this case, happens once plagiarism copies someone's publication word for word and claims it's written by him.
• Self Plagiarism
This is an act of repetition of already printed work or articles by identical publishers. Self-plagiarism conjointly suggests resubmitting identical articles once submitted by an identical author.
• Accidental Plagiarism
This type of plagiarism happens once plagiarism copies another author's content unwittingly or accidentally. though it's not the writer's deliberate act this principally happens once writing on identical content with another author.
• Mosaic Plagiarism
Mosaic plagiarism occurs when plagiarism uses a phrase from another source without using quotation marks to indicate the real source. The mosaic type of plagiarism occurs when a plagiarist copies another author's contents or articles without citing the source as a reference.
Ways to avoid Plagiarism
There are some advisable ways to avoid plagiarism but the one I see as most important for an author not to be involved in plagiarism.
Content writers must need the ability to be creative while writing and understand the content he/she is writing about.
A writer should remember that whatever he creates from his talent will be unique and beautiful in this world.
Other Basic ways
As a content writer what can I do;
• I make sure I understand the context I am writing about and be creative while writing to avoid repetition.
• I appropriately cite all authors so that I may borrow their content in course of writing my articles.
• To verify the uniqueness of my content I always use plagiarism-checking tools online.
• A Steemian should cite a source head to make their post professional and also to avoid plagiarism penalties at the Steem marketplace.
Conclusion
We are the most beautiful creatures in the universe. So everything should be unique and beautiful. Only then will the balance of this world be right. Plagiarism creates chaos in our society. So I think that avoid about plagiarism is very important for all.
I have read and understood the Steemit Etiquette on Steemit Community and will do my best to embrace them.
Thank You.
