Steemscan.com web application is designed by @futureshock. The web application is made to support thee steemit platforms by giving steemians with up-to-date information on the price of steem, updates and activities been carried out on the steemit Blockchain. It also provides a service that ease the stress of converting TRX to Steem and other cryptocurrencies. There has been different upgrade since it's launch and each newer update has a improved facilities. The current version now is 0.0.4.

What is the current Steem price today?
As of today been Thursday, 14th of April 2022. One steem is valued at $0.34 on the cryptocurrency market and as usual, the price may go up or down.

What is the volume of steem traded
Based on Steemscan.com, the total volume of Steem available for trading today is 403,452,839 Steem and 11,012,741 SBD.

What do we have under Latest transactions
The Latest transactions tab shows all the activities currently taking place on the Steemit Blockchain. Activities such as:Transfer, Comments, Up votes, Down Voting, Curation Rewards, Delegation are arranged based on Block ID, ID, Time Stamp, Sender, Receiver, Type and Amount

What do we have under the latest blocks section
Here the Steemscan web application displays the ID and block transaction of all the new Steem that is being produced in the Steemit Blockchain at this moment.

The information shown under the Witnesses menu
Going back to the menu, we now select Witness.
To help you understand this information, it's necessary for us to know who a witness is on Steemit. A witness is a a person who have the hardware facility and the technical know incharged of hosting part of the Steemit decentralized system. The witness has a Rank and a Name, and Status and makes use of a Version. Based on how active the witness is, then he will have less Missed, and will do his job which involves placing a Price feed, and any Steemian is free to Vote them if they appreciate their contribution. I always vote for @steemchiller due to his activitiness in the steemit platform.

How do we vote for a Witness?

An active Steemian with the necessary computing power would become a witness if voted in by your votes.
To place a vote on a witness, select the vote option at the far right...
• Enter username and Active key

• Once you enter your active key, your vote is counted.

What are DApps
Going back to the Manu, on the list that Drops you will have DApps. DApps are decentralized applications that provides Steemit and the steemit Blockchain some vital services. Helping in the day to day running of steemit.

Which 3 DApps have I already used or may use in future

• Steemscan: l have just used the Steemscan find the price of Steem.

• Steemworld: today I used steemworld to delegate and check my current voting power.

• Tronlink Web: Used this to link my steemit Tron wallet to access my TRX and trade.

How to use "Quick Convert" feature"
We use the Quick Convert function to convert from Steem to USDT, BTC or TRX

• Go to the menu
• Select Quick Convert

• Provide the amount, select the currency you wish to convert.

You can search for a transaction, a block, an account or a transaction ID.
You can search by transaction type, or the tome of transaction. Literally, with the search options, you can obtain any information on the platform.
