Hi friends and steemians. How is the day going? Mine is fantastic to tell. I have written my achievement 1, which talks about introduction about myself. Now i am going over to achievement 2, which talks about basic security in steem. I will like to go further by explaining briefly about the meaning of basic security in steem

Basic can be best defined as the fundamental point for a bigginer. This basic are skill needful before getting the knowledge of anything done.

Security is best defined as the state of being free from danger. It is an area whereby something is protected from danger. Security has been a better way of being free from harm.

Steem is a currency found in steemit. It is also a crypto-currency where it is been invested at the time of low price. It is one of the reward gotten when a post is being voted.

So in steemit basic security in steem is the way new users in steemit acknowledge the sense and skill of how to protect there currency. This are guide in which new bie followed in other to secure there currency known as steem.

Q1: Have you retrieve all your keys on steemit?

YES

I have retrieved all my keys. It download in my phone in form of PDF. I also acknowledge that those keys need to be secured and the most important one is the master password and owner key. This keys are used to recover or retrieved back other keys including the owner itself.

Q2: Do you know each of these key functions and restrictions?

YES

I known all there functions and there restriction. I know how to use the appropriate key permission and how it works.

• Master Password: This is the first password seen when signing up. This password is a very important key, because it is used for account recovery. It is also used to recover other keys in steem including the Owner key. This key need to be kept safe from other users in steem, because your account can be stolen when users in steem have access to it.

• Owner Key: This is a special key found in steem. This key is also used to change other keys in steem and it need to be stored offline. It should be used when necessary and it is like the master password. But the different is that master password is used to generate or recover new account, while the owner key is used to change other key in steem.

• Posting Key: This is another key found in steem. It is used in the daily login of an account. It is also used to post, comment, vote, resteem, follow, mute and edit other account. To keep yourself active the posting key should be used to login regularly.

• Active Key: This is a key which deals on the basis of any fund done in steem. It is also used to keep privacy of an account. It is used to transfer token, place market order, to power up/down, conversion in steem and voting for witness.

• Memo Key: This is a key used to encrypt and decrypt memos when transffering token. This memo is kept public for knowing the particular account to transfer token by exchange and the # symbol is applied before the key.

Q3: How do you plan to keep your master password?

Although i have known the sense about the master password. It is used to recover or retrieve an account. I have plan to keep it secured and also keep it in a place that will be very easy to see when needed.

The key will be my master key, because the password will be a key for recovering my account when lost.

Q4: Do you know how to transfer your steem token to another steem user account?

Steem transfer token is been done in steemit. This is very easy to done when the wallet is easy to access.
This is done by navagating to your wallet and inputing your posting key. Then go to the steem section and click the pop-down menu.

Select the transfer option and input the necessary details, which is the name of the user name to which the token is transferred and the amount to transfer. Select next and click OK to confirm the vesting transfer. Input your active key and click sign up. To check the transfer history go to the history search in the wallet.

Q5: Do you know how to power up your STEEM?

YES

To power up steem means that you determine an effective voting from you and the converted currency is called steem power SP.

You also take the following step taken when transferring. You click the pop-down arrow in the steem section and select power down option. Input the necessary details and click power up. Check the steem power section to know sure of the powering up.
