THE MASTER KEY

This is the key that is used in deriving or getting all the other keys. This means that it can be used to derive even the owner key.

It is very important to safeguard the master key. Evidently, this is because of the strategic role it has to play in the safety of your account. If lost, it can be used to gain total access to your account. Hence, all your digital assets could be lost if the master key is lost.

THE MEMO KEY

The memo key is used to perform a special function when transferring funds. It is used to encrypt messages from the sender. Also, it would be used to decrypt the message by the receiver.

THE POSTING KEY

The posting key plays a number of roles and functions. It can be used for posting, commenting and editing. Also, it can be used for replying and resteeming. Again, it can be used for voting and following or muting other accounts.

It is expected that users login more often with their posting key. Actually, the tendency of a password or key being compromised depends on how often it is used. Using only the positing key more often would mean that even if the password is compromised the amount of damage that can be done to your account will be minimal and may not even affect your earnings.

THE ACTIVE KEY

The active key performs very sensitive actions or tasks in the steemit blockchain. It can be used to transfer funds and powering up or powering down transactions.

Again, it can be used for converting steam dollars to steam token.

THE OWNER KEY

The other key is a very powerful one. So, it should only be used when it becomes necessary. It is seen as the most powerful key in this system because it has the ability of being used to change all the other keys.

Even, it can be used to change the owner key itself. It is expected that this key is stored offline. It should only be used in the case of recovering a lost account.

Q3 How do you plan to keep your master password?

After I downloaded the PDF I back it up offline and I stored it in my harddisk and also write all the keys down in a white paper and keep it

Q4 Do you know How To Transfer STEEM to another User

Yes

This is very easy you just have to follow the instructions below

• Login with your active key and click on steem

• Click on Tranfer, enter the amount of STEEM you want to transfer and also the username of the person you are Transferring to and click on "Next" to proceed.

Simple process

• Login with your active key and click on STEEM

• Select Power, enter the amount you want to power up and click on "Power up"
