Hello Steemit community, I hope you are well.

This time I come to share with the community Achievement #3, which is basically to understand the Steemit protocol in terms of the content we create.

The content must mainly be free of plagiarism, it must be original content, and I would add that it must also be content made with effort, because if we want to create content, the idea is to be able to transmit as much information as possible, being very specific with our contents, so that it really is of quality and the dedication of our work is demonstrated.

When we create content on the Steemit platform we must be careful when writing sentences, or even place images or videos that are authored by another person, if in the event that you want to share a photo that is not of our authorship, you must always place the link or the corresponding names of the authors of said creations.

There are even pages like Pixabay and Pexels, among others, where you can use photos for publications, since they are free copyright pages, however you must also place the Link of the pages, since that is part of our ethics as content generators, We can create content, but we must always give recognition to the pages or authors.

In a nutshell: It is to use the content or creation of another author and share it on our blog making believe that it is ours.

The plagiarism meaning comes from the Latin word ‘plagiarius,’ which means to kidnap. As the plagiarism definition suggests, when someone uses the work of another artist without properly citing the source or giving credit, then that will be an instance of plagiarism. Plagiarism is a punishable offense, and it is a form of intellectual theft.source
