Achievement 2 @saada08 Task : Basic Security On Steem

Good morning to all of you.I hope you are doing great by the grace of God.I warmly welcome you guys to my second post on steemit.I got my achievement1 verified and I continue the next process which is achievement2.I joined steemit 5 days ago with the help of my sister. I couldn’t join any contest because all contest requires you belong to a particular club before you can participate in most contest .I was very sad about that.so I wanted to complete all the achievements task and use the small I have as power up because my sister taught me a lot about steemit. I start my achievement 2.

Achievement 2 is all talks basically about security . This talks about security. This can be found almost everywhere because of fraud.Security can simply be defined as the process of being free from stealing or can be defined as being free from danger of humans.

Question 1:

Have you receive all your keys on steemit?
Yes I received all my keys in the process of signing up, with the help of my sister I downloaded all my keys in a pdf form which I stored on my phone and with all other keys inside it.

Question 2:
Do you know each of this keys function and restrictions?
With the various instructions indicated on them , I find it easy identifying the purpose of each key.I just sometimes ask my sister the purpose of some them I don’t get clearly and she will tell me the meaning of them.

Posting key:
As the name says “posting key” this key helps one post into different communities and can also share comments . This is the first most important key every steemian is mostly familiar with. This key helps you log into your steemit blog account.

Memo key:
This key helps one to decide and encode messages that are mostly private and prevents others steemians from seeing.it helps prevent the leakage of information

Active key:
This is the key that helps one to do power up. Power up is very essential in steemit hence has it specific key.it is also use in transfer of steems to other users. It also helps transfer token .

Owner key:
One of the most important key is the owner key and it the key used to reset all other keys apart from the master key

Question 3

How do you plan to keep your master password?
I saved a copy of my keys on my laptop, save one on my Phone iCloud and also sent the pdf to my most trusted friends on WhatsApp.

Question 4

Do you know how to transfer your steem token to another steem user?

These are the steps to transfer steem token to someone on steemit is as folllows

Click on steem Wallet and login with your username and active key

Click on the drop down menu on steem

Click on transfer from the drop down menu above

Write the name of the one who you are transferring the steem to and the amount of steem and click on next.

From this stage I will use my active key to complete my the transfer

These are the necessary steps required for one to transfer steem from one person to another

Do you know how to power up your STEEM?

I do know know how to power up.
The following are the steps you need to power up properly.
Click on steem wallet and login with your username and active key

Click on the drop down menu and select power up

Then put the number of steems you want to power up and click on power up button below

You will now tap on okay to complete your power up steem

At these point I have completed my achievement1 and achievement 2 post. I will definitely have to keep my keys in a more secure place and to secure my account from theft. I will also teach people to keep their keys in a more secure place .
