My 1st Progress Report.

Greetings, Steemian. My name is Muhammad Sabbir Akib and my username is @sabbirakib. This is my first progress report.

@the-gorilla mentioned in his post that he does not take these points as a templet. Somehow, I am from a country where we grew up reading Humayun Ahmed’s. Once he wrote in his autobiography that, before his first novel was published, his selected publishers called him and yelled at him about some empty pages. Publishers explained a novel should be written in a Forma. So, there will be no blank page left. After that, all of Humayun’s novels were written in Forma. He was criticized by some of his friends for his Forma-based work.

That is why I follow templet and in my opinion, templet makes a thing look good. Templet gives them a shape. Anyway, let’s start!

The community I’ve joined so far

At first, I’ve been joined here. Then I found আমার বাংলা ব্লগ which represents my own mother language. I engaged their Discord Group. It’s an amazing community in Steemit. A lot of active users. All the admin and moderators are friendly. Moreover, It’s in my own language platform. They have a lot of activities for users. I like them.

Beauty of Creativity is another community I joined and became a verified member of. They also offer some great opportunities for users. Looking forward to doing great in those communities.
There are some more communities. But I have less idea about them, so I am not mentioning them here.

The topic I am writing about

There is no selection yet that I am focusing on. I am a new user here and I have to adopt first. I am spending time reading others and trying to understand what’s going on here. It may take time to select a fixed topic to write about. Literally, I like Sports, Science, and story-telling.

List of Key People I Met

I know a few people right now. They are all helpful. I feel blessed that I joined here. Though none of them know me, I am still happy. Because I may be influenced by them somewhere else. I don’t want to mention them, but @rme is one of them. He is the founder of Amar Bangla Blog. The more I know about him, the more I wonder.

He is a very decent, wonderful, intelligent guy. I’ve joined 4 or 5 Discord hangouts arranged by ABB. There was an event of the quiz. The question he asked made me wonder. He read a lot. He knows a lot. No matter if he does not know me, I know him and I may benefit from the knowledge he shares with all of us.
I am not mentioning others. Perhaps this post will be a list of big or tiny whales. (Haha).

My most successful post

This is my most successful post. Though I didn’t get any upvotes or downvotes, still I consider this as my most successful post. I had to put in a lot of effort, had read many articles. Making this post made me a knowledge hunter. That’s why I think this is my best.

What did I discover?

I discovered a few things. But one I must admit. Plagiarism is the most beautiful I discovered here. Everyone is strict about this. I saw in every community and contest guideline that they prohibit plagiarism. This is really a good thing. People will be encouraged to create good things.

My plans and expectations

As @the-gorilla said his post to not mention, ‘Growing my account’. I am not. My target is to make a footprint in the mentioned community as some of them should know me as a person. I don’t want to be here as an anonymous person.
