Greetings to all steemains. Today, I thought to do next Achievement Task on this steemit community. For this, I would like to mention that @cryptokannon's Newcomers Achievement Program helped me a lot.

I have completed now achievement 01 and achievement 02 as a newcomer. This is my third achievement post. Plagiarism is completely forbidden in the steemit platform. But some people do this mistake knowingly or unknowingly. So the purpose of this third achievement is to educate new users about plagiarism. It can be said that the objective has been successful. Because I also learned a lot about plagiarism while researching for this article.

WHAT IS PLAGIARISM

Plagiarism is the republishing of someone else's work, presentation, or idea without their permission. This is like stealing. Any person takes a lot of effort to create a creation. They spend his knowledge, valuable time and effort for this. It is a combination of all these things that comes out as a design. So that person should be given full credit for that design.

TYPES OF PLAGIARISM

You must understand that plagiarism is a very low-level work. Plagiarism can occur in several ways. According to my study it can be divided mainly in this way. Let's see what those main forms are.

• Direct Plagiarism

Direct plagiarism is when we publish someone else's creation or presentation without their permission, without verifying their copyright, without making any changes, as our creation. This is a mistake that very few people make. It is absolutely forbidden in this steemit network. So don't do this. A punishable offence.

• Self Plagiarism

Self plagiarism means publishing one's own work over and over again. Many people are tempted to do this with the intention of increasing their profits. Some are tempted to do this because of the boredom of writing something new and building something new. So this is also forbidden in steemit.

• Accidental Plagiarism

Sometimes plagiarism can happen by accident or mistake. But if it can be proved that it is a mistake, it will not be a serious mistake. However, when we publish a work, we should minimize the chances of accidental plagiarism.

HOW TO PREVENT PLAGIARISM

Can't we just post someone else's quote in stimming? . No.We can. For that we need to know how to protect ourselves from plagiarism. There is a method for that in steemit. If we republish someone else's things, we must give the copyright to that person. Now let's see how to do it.

I gave an example of how we quote an article. Now let's see how to extract a photo available on the Internet. Here too we need to mention the quoted website or person under the photo as we did above.
