What Is plagiarism?
Plagiarism means stolen someone's work & using it as own content, ideas, etc with or without permission. If you copy work from others it is plagiarism. It can be intentional or unintentional.Different types of plagiarism:
plagiarism violates the rules of steemit. Some kinds of plagiarisms are mentioned below:Direct plagiarism
Direct plagiarism is done when anyone copies other's works, ideas, content, etc word by word from a section without quotations. It is unethical & hardly barred in steemit.Accidental plagiarism
It means a person ignores to cite the sources & misquotes the sources without attribution. Everyone should be careful when doing research. He should learn that how to cite sources.Mosaic plagiarism
When a person copies a group of work without using quotation marks and maintains the original meaning it is under mosaic plagiarism. It is also not acceptable in steemit's rules & regulations.Self plagiarism
It is quite simple. If anyone uses his own work more than once without his instructor's permission it is under self-plagiarism. You can only use one work one time. If you need to submit that work again you must have the permission of your instructor. It is called self-plagiarism.Some tips for avoiding plagiarism
a) Must mention the sources which are related to the content
b) Always try to be creative & use your own ideas.
c) Give credit to the original creator. For example, I am using a quote note and I am gonna give the source as a cited text. Do not despair at the mercy of Allah. Quran 39:53
d) Can use plagiarism Checker as safety. Because sometimes unintentional plagiarism happens.
Plagiarism is a kind of stealing. It is also bad for carriers. We should always try to avoid it & be creative.
