Yes i have followed all the instruction and have also downloaded the pdf file containing all my keys on steemit and it has been stored and backed up securedly.
FUNCTIONS OF ALL STEEMIT KEYS
I would list all the keys available here on steemit then a brief understanding about its functions.
Active key.
》Posting key.
》Master key.
》Memo key.
》Owner key.
Active key
They are basically used for powering up, powering down, for transactions e.t.c. on the steemit platform.
Posting key
They are used to login into your account for the purpose of posting, voting, commenting , resteeming e.t.c.
Master key
It is a key in steemit used to retrieve other keys on the steemit platform in case of any loss of the other keys.
Memo key
They are used for decrypting and encrypting while making a transaction on the steemit platform.
Owner key
They are used for ressetting other keys on steemit , if you find out there is a password bridge you can use steemit to change your password.
HOW I PLAN TO SAFEKEEP MY MASTER KEY PASSWORD
I have already backed up my master key password in my google cloud account and my email address, then have also saved the pdf file on my system.
HOW TO TRANSFER MY STEEM TOKEN TO ANOTHER STEEM ACCOUNT
You do this by going to the transfer section in the steem platform then copy the recievers wallet address of the receiver and paste in the box title "to" and then on the title box "memo" add the receiver's name.
HOW TO POWER UP YOUR STEEM
This is a process of upgrading your steem to a higher steem power in order to resteem, upvote and post.
You go to wallet section and click on it.
Under the steem section you would see the number of steem you have with a down arrow by the side click on it.
A dialog box appears scroll down you would see "POWER UP" then click on it.
