Hi friends hope all you fine.Today is my second achievement in steemit.This is related about basic security of steemit.We know that today a lot of people try to scam.They use some hacking bot and some other illegal software to hack steemit and others like Facebook and YouTube etc.Everey app has his own strong security to protect their users from sacms.Now we discussed about the security of steemit.If we understand these following step we clearly understand the security of steemit.All these steps are given below:
Step 1: Choose a strong password 🔑
1)Use a combination of letters, numbers and special characters
2)Make it at least 12 characters long

1. Avoid using easily guessable information like names or birthdays

Step 2: Enable Two-factor Authentication
1)Go to your steemit account settings

1. Click on "Security"
2. Enable Two-factor Authentication via Google Authenticator or Authy
   

Step 3:Verify Your Account

Go to your steemit account settings

1. Click on "Verify Account"
2. Follow the verification process to secure your account

Step 4 :Be Cautious with Links and Downloads

1. Avoid clicking on suspicious links or downloading attachments from unknown
   sources
2. Make sure to verify the authenticity of links and downloads before accessing them

Step 5: Keep Your Recovery Account Information Save

1. Store your recovery account information in a secure location "Google Drive"
2. Avoid sharing it with anyone

Step 6: Monitor Your Account Activity

1. Regularly check your account activity from any suspicious transactions or actions
2. Report any unusual activity to Steemit support immediately
   Step 7: Use a Secure Internet Connection
3. Avoid using public or unsecured internet connections to access your Steemit account
   Step 8: Keep Your Steemit Software Update
4. Regularly update your Steemit software to ensure you have the latest security patches
   2)Use the latest version of the Steemit browser or mobile app
   If we follow such steps then ensure we are safe in Steemit.Remember that your keys are most important for login your Steemit account.
