Hi, I am Sharon Yu(@sharonerhu0404) in the United Kingdom and I am 37 years old. Before I move to UK, I have been a web developer in Hong Kong for many years. I graduated in the University of Hong Kong as a Bachelor of Computer Science. I am also a music teacher who has been teaching erhu(二胡, Chinese fiddle) individually in my studio in Hong Kong previously and through zoom for many years. I learn piano as well so I understand both Chinese and Western music theory. Why Steemit
I am recommended by my neighbours that Steemit is another social media that I can talk about my favourites like music with videos and articles. I find that people here are very responsive and people are from different countries so it is interesting to learn different views from them. I also like no ads here so I feel comfortable to watch videos and read articles here.
Cryptocurrency
I only know Bitcoin as it is not popular in Hong Kong, but I know its working mechanism because I study Computer Science in the university. I am curious that there are different types of cryptocurrency which are like stock. And I think it is rewarding if you make meaningful articles, videos and opinions and get some cryptocurrency. So I decide to start exploring cryptocurrency here.
Hobbies
I love music very much and learnt erhu when I was in secondary school. After I graduated from the university, I continued learning erhu and started learning piano as well. I think music is borderless and limitless, so I also learn Chinese and Western music theory for better communication between musicians all over the world. I am currently studying popular music theory so I can make more interesting music videos on my Youtube channel! I love listening to different kinds of music all over the world!
Besides music, I am an avid reader who likes reading books in different areas. So I like writing articles to express my thoughts so I think Steemit is a place for sharing my views on different topics. I read books every day.
Cookery books are also my favourites, so I like cooking as well. I always watch Youtube videos with recipes and cook the dish. Usually I eat healthy food without any deep frying and most are fully cooked. Chilly and cold food is not good for health. I keep a healthy lifestyle that I do body stretching every day and take some time to understand the principles behind each dish. I take pictures of my dish and my neighbors and friends apprecaite it very much. My neigbhours like eating my food as they say it is tasty!

I don’t like dishonest, arrogant and selfish people. No discrimination and no racist. No stereotyping. Respect others.
