Greetings,

Assalamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuhu .I hope you guys are well, my steemit friends. I am fine. I am @shikhurana. I am thankful to the authorities as you have given me the right direction. And allowed me to work on this great platform.

Today I am sharing achievement -3 with you based on content etiquette.

Content Etiquette: Subject etiquette generally means following the norms or codes of one's community. Plagiarism is a robust code among them.

What is plagiarism?

Plagiarism is a type of fraud. Using someone else's subject, idea, or work as your work is plagiarism. And used entirely without acknowledgment. Using someone else's data without permission is a crime. And to pass it off as one's own and take credit is a form of fraud .plagiarism is the absence of innovation and creativity in work.

Types of plagiarism: Below, I discuss the other kind of plagiarism:-

  • Direct plagiarism.
  • Paraphrasing is plagiarism.
  • Self-theft.
  • Source-based plagiarism.
  • Accidental plagiarism.
  • Mosaic plagiarism.

Direct plagiarism: This fraud type is not affected by law or institutions. I am using someone else's material without giving credit.

Paraphrasing is plagiarism: Using someone else's writing ideas or techniques in your work or unknowingly copying something exactly.

Self-theft: Auto-plagiarism is using someone else's writing or ideas to give you credit.

Accidental plagiarism: Accidental plagiarism is when someone unintentionally uses someone else's writing or content for their work and then forgets to give credit.

Source-based plagiarism: When a non-existent source is presented as a reference ,It is called source-based plagiarism.

Mosaic plagiarism: Mosaic plagiarism occurs when a student quotes from an author's source and finds a copy of the language without using exclamation marks. Whether intentional or unintentional, It is academically punishable.

Causes of plagiarism: There are several reasons why people choose to steal. It is as follows(with citation):-

Lack of proper technique application.
Inability to consider correct direction from various sources.

Lack of creativity.
Reluctance to work but a strong desire to progress.
Laziness is significant.
Inability to make correct selections from numerous sources.

Remedies from plagiarism:

We can protect data from theft with some tricks. That is:-

Applying entirely own ideas to one's writing.Extreme care must be taken to avoid repeating information.I am using the subjunctive sign for the subjunctive.I was using the stolen square.

Be aware of paraphrasing care must be taken to avoid cuts and snags. Use footnotes and commit to your work. You must be genuine in your work.theft is a crime. It can destroy a career's reputation. Creativity is continually respected. I understand the importance of being natural and avoiding plagiarism in my writing.

Conclusion: I have read the steem code of conduct of the steam community and will try my best to abide by it. I hope you all will support me.
