My Achievement2: Basic on Security on steemit by @sseremba

Hello Every body am very delighted to be the same person greeting the same people after introducing my self in my first post on steemit platform.

Today   am   going   to   share   the  knowledge  I have   gained    about   the   use   of  different  keys   about   steemit   keys  I   can easily   notice that   most   of   us   who  are   new   entrants  may not   know   of   their  functions  so   this   should  be noted  that  like   any  other   social   media  platform need   logging  in  the  same  at  steemit  platform. 

The following are the uses for each key,

POSTINGKEY

This key is lower level password used for performing simple simple access such as posting , voting , commenting and following other accounts so this key is used for daily access . However this key cannot be used for transactions it must be kept confidential against hackers who can easily access ones privacy on the steemit platform.

To perform the actions of posting voting, commenting and following other accounts ,the users can click login on the right to top of the page as shown on the above picture . Then use your postingkey to access.

ACTIVEKEY

This type of key gives access to the users to transfer , trade the internal market , control funds and change accounting setting such as vigilant and be sure this key is kept safe and authority in performing financial aspects that are costly for you.

MEMOKEY

The usage of memo key doesn't give benefit now .Basically the key is to encrypt and decrypt private messages sent and received via the users account.

In the future ,it is hoped that the users can make private messaging by using this Memokey

OWNERKEY

This key can be used for necessary uses .
It is the most powerful key because it can change any key of an account .so it meant to be stored offline only used to recover compromised accounts.

MASTERKEY AND DOWNERKEY WHATMAKES THEMDIFFERENT ?

Master key derives or used to generate all other keys including owner key so it must be highly kept in safer place or written down on a piece of paper for future reference so to new entrants this Masterkey must not be used just for any operations.

USE OF STEEMIT WALLET

This should be remembered that not only steemit users not only post but also get rewarded and this can be viewed under steemit Wallet.

So the Wallet holds all finances in form of steem power and steem dollars which are viewed online.
It also allows exchange in form crypto currency and also allows financial transactions all viewed on line since the steem wallet is transperent every body can vividly view if needed by an individual.

WHAT USERS DO ON STEEM WALLET:
1: Convert steem coins to steem dollars , steem power and other crypto currency.

2: Send your steemit coins to other wallet.

3: Just leave the steem coins in the steem wallet for safe keeping.

This is all I can vividly say about steemit security ,keys and their uses I know have not been so right and assistance is highly welcomed .
