Today my message is about PLAGIARISM which has rampantly sprayed far and wide and which I poor behavior on any Social media platform like steemit .
I know and believe that most of us and the new entrants we may be asking about PLAGIARISM so let me go a head to define and elaborate more about plagiarism.
PLAGIARISM
This can be defined as using ones work , words, images for your purposes with or without his or her consent .
Plagiarism can be divided in various types and these are,
DIRECT PLAGIARISM
This refers to a word to word transcription of some ones work with out his or her consent as well as not applying quotation marks and this is vividly looked at as Direct plagiarism.
MOSAIC PLAGIARISM
This refered to as borrowing one's phrases with out quotation marks and this dishonest on any social media platform . It can also be referred to as patch writing.
ACCIDENTAL PLAGIARISM
This is also referred to as misquotes the sources of his her information and also neglect their to cite their sources using similar words without attribution.

SELF PLAGIARISM
This should be noted as reusing your own work , words , images to make it seem brand new which brings confusion to the reader and some one who may need to access your work. And so is considered another social media dishonest and bad habit.
HOW TO AVOID SELF PLAGIARISM
This can be done by clearly citing a good site to acquire information from.
It's also advisable to check if data is clearly indicate for example the quotation marks and so forth .
