Hi there, this is my third newbie's task(achievment3).

So, plagiarism is the practice of attributing someone's words or ideas to oneself. This is an act of intellectual dishonesty. In colleges and universities, it violates the honour code and may cause irreparable damage to a person's reputation. It also brings serious consequences; plagiarism may result in failing, suspension or expulsion.

Officially, Oxford University explains this concept as follows:
Plagiarism is presenting someone else’s work or ideas as your own, with or without their consent, by incorporating it into your work without full acknowledgement. All published and unpublished material, whether in manuscript, printed or electronic form, is covered under this definition. Plagiarism may be intentional or reckless, or unintentional. Unfortunately, this phenomenon is very common in the modern world, which is also reflected in popular culture (jokes, songs, films, political and cultural disputes)

It would seem that any sane person who cares about his human and professional reputation should most of all be wary of accusations of plagiarism and, therefore, not argue for the latter. However, contrary to common sense, plagiarism is rife. Moreover, many researchers who choose the strategy of plagiarism (that is, theft) do not at all consider themselves to be violators of any norms, laws and regulations. Those who steal from either find out about it by chance or do not find out at all: the ratio of established facts of plagiarism to unidentified ones, according to the most conservative estimates, is one to ten...
