Hi #Steemians, my name is Barnabas but friends call me Stbarn. I'm a Nigerian. I live in the city of Port Harcourt. Currently, I am studying Estate management in Rivers State University.

My journey with #steemit

I created my #steemit account last year after someone mentioned it to me but could not give me a guideline and detailed descriptions on how it works. I went online making research without knowing the proper name, trust Google 😁, it gave me different options and I got more confused. Finally I saw what I was looking for. I introduced some of my friends with my little understanding of #steemit. Later, I went to youtube for the beginners tutorials. I am glad that finally I am here 😆. I also thank @Chinonso who came to show me some stuffs for better understanding.
I won't say my experience with crypto is zero, I once did online transactions with Etherum. I am open to learn more.

My Hobbies and passion

Well, I love visiting new places and doing research. It interests me to be in a new environment, meeting new people and carrying out a research project.

Growing up as a teenager, I had passion for agriculture. I reared livestock, planted vegetables and fruits for myself. I don't know if the passion came as a result of my parents who were local farmers.

As an under undergraduate, I started cucumber farming which I am using to support myself and my academics and equally planning to open a coconut farm very soon.

It's not easy to go to school here if your parents are impoverished. I lost my guardian after my secondary school, there was no money to further to higher institution. I engaged in these activities to support myself and my academics, even though the distractions are much, that's the only way I could have a good future for myself.

I also have a diploma in cinematography. I cover tv shows, live events, weddings and birthdays. I worked in some photo studios as a photographer, editor and videographer and I had a platform (Stbarn Media), where I trained young people, that was before my undergraduate studies.

Smiling is my culture , those that know me can attest to this fact. It makes life easier for me, despite all I have been through. It makes me strong and courageous. It hides my real feelings and makes those around me feel comforted. It gives healing to the wounded soul and restores a broken spirit. I see it as one of the greatest gift from God and I don't hesitate to share it with those around me.

I have so much to say but I have to stop here. I plan on writing blog reviews on fishery, poultry, coconut farming, cucumber etc, and their nutritional benefits. And also write a blog on different softwares for editing videos and photos, photoshoot and camera angles. To have followers and friends, upvotes and earn. I am open to learn more about the site from friends.
