ACHIEVEMENT2 : UNDERSTANDING THE BASIC SECURITY KEYS OF STEEMIT // 07-04-21

To start with, let me thank @steemcurator03 for verifying me as a streem member After posting my achievement 1 .
With this post I will be talking about the security as far as steem is concerned.everyone will beer with me that in steem block chain , your keys 🔑 represent your tokens and you must keep it in a safe place.

In steemit, a user is provided with five major keys of which each key serve a different purpose when it comes to securing your account , Let me explain the basic steemit keys in my own language:

1.owners keys: when it comes to owners key, it has the capacity to change other keys including it self.sois better to save it on a drive or cloud because it becomes difficult to reset a password unless you use master key to regenerate keys.

2.posting keys: as the name implies,posting is required when performing blog activities such as, voting, posting, editing , resteeming, following and muting accounts.

3.memo keys:this keys is used to read and send encrypted message.

4:Active keys: this keys is mostly used in the transferring funds, powering up or down, converting steel dollars to steem , it is also required during profile setting.

1. master keys: in my opinion I would say with vim that, the mother key is mother or the universal key because creating an account this is the first password you receive to generate all the other keys, so
   It must be kept save to prevent others from accessing your account.

Transferring token to another user account

First and foremost, I have to access my wallet, login with my active keys since am about to perform a transactions.

If am holding a steel dollar, I convert it to steem and then click on the steem option
Then select transfer fund
I then enter the user name of the receiver
Then select send .

HOW TO POWER DOWN

From the information so far on steemit, you must earn steem power before you can power down, so you simply go to your wallet and then click on steem power
Then you select power down from the menu by so doing, it will take seven days for steem power to power down to steem
