What are markdowns

---

Markdowns is a markup language they can be used to add special feature to a plain text on your posts.

Why are they important?

Markdown enable a writer to highlight specific points they may want their readers to note while also helping the reader understand what the writer is passing across.

It enable the reader read the text easily

It also beautify the text as a whole, helping to differenciate between headers and the body of the text.

Types of Markdowns

There are different types of markdowns i'm going to share a few with you now:

Header:

A header can be highlighted by using the hashtag and space Example: # text-here

Result:

text-here

You can also decrease the size of the header by adding more than on Hashtag Example: # header 1 ## header 2 ### header 3

Bold:

This is used to thicken the color of the text, this draws the eyes of the reader to the word or sentence as important to note. This function can be applied by text

Center

This is used to align the text in the center center></center include the open and close angle bracket.

Result:

Subscript

This can be applied by i want to < sub>subscript this< /sub>

Result:
I want to _{subscript this}

Superscript

This can be added by i want to< sup>superscript this< /sup>

Result: i want to ^{superscript this}.

This are only a few markdowns listed here there are more other interesting markdown you would find interesting, which will give you work more eligance and add a touch of professionalism to it.
