Achivement 1

Achievement 2

What is Plagiarism?

Most times people copy other writer's work without giving a reference of who the article truely belongs to, properly and that is known as Plagiarism, once the person begins to claim that the work is his/her own, the person has began to Plagiarize, this is all known as Plagiarism.

Types of plagiarism

- Paraphrasing plagiarism

This occurs when someone rewrites a piece of written work using another words which is related to it without properly giving reference to the particular writer. This action is an illegal act and the culprit must be punished for it.

- Direct plagiarism

This is when someone copies another writer's work exactly the way it was written, without properly giving reference to it. Most times we see lazy writers copying the work of others writers just because they want to make money without working hard or stressing themselves.

- Self Plagiarism

This is an act of plagiarism is which a writer reposts his written work after he has already been rewarded for it, he therefore makes it look like a new to earn more credits.

Just because most writers have discovered they made alot of profit in their previous write-up, they will want to repeat it again, this time around in another company or organization.

- Accidental plagiarism

This is a kind of plagiarism in which a writer accidentally wrote a piece of work without knowing he/she has Plagiarised, this happens alot in our world today.

How to avoid Plagiarism

Most times people Plagiarize out of laziness and wickedness, the following is one of the ways on how to avoid plagiarism;

  • To attach links to any photo gotten from the internet.
To do this, you have to put a link of the photo below it and do something like this to make it nice 👇
    [source](the link of the photo)

  • To quote a phrase just add this symbol > at the front of it and it becomes like this

I love newcomers community.

We can also avoid plagiarism by checking our write-ups in a website known as duplichecker where we fish out plagiarized phrases in our write-ups, i must say is one of my best websites

Am convinced have made all the necessary corrections.

Conclusion

"I have read and understood the Steemit Etiquette on Steemit community and will do my best to embrace them" at the end of this task post. I hope to finally get verified.
