My Introduction To Steemit || Achievement 1 by the-gorilla

Hi everybody, I'm Peter. I only recently found out about Steem when I was talking to a client about a potential project regarding Cryptocurrencies so thought I'd find out more and am enjoying my time here so far.

My Work

I work in Digital Media and have done so since I finished University at 21. I've worked primarily within Financial Services and worked with RBS (The Royal Bank of Scotland), Barclays, NatWest, HSBC, Coutts, Investec, to name a few. I've more recently decided to work for myself although I've reduced how much work I do now that I have a son (and another son due in April 😫😱).

Fantasy Premier League (FPL)

I've been playing FPL since 2006 so consider myself a bit of a veteran and have learnt a lot along the way. Most of my posts are likely to be FPL related so if you're a fan too, then hopefully we can learn something from each other.

My Apps

In the time working for myself, I decided to combine my passion for Football with my love of technology and decided to write a couple of Apps that are now on iTunes. I didn't plan to make millions but wanted to write an app that allowed football fans to keep track of the grounds they've visited, I'm proud of what I've achieved.

Football ⚽

I'm a keen supporter of my local club, Reading FC and attended my first game in 1996 (Reading v. Birmingham City). I was told the match was rubbish (we lost 1-0) but I loved every second and have been hooked ever since. I try to visit as many grounds as I can (hence the Away Days ground tracker) and am currently on a respectable 64 out of 92 - I only count visits where I watch Reading!

The Rest

Obviously there's so much more to me than what I've done in my life and I look forward to interacting with the community here for a long time to come. Oh, I'm from Eastbourne in England 🙂 The sunshine coast 🌞 I also like making food (especially chocolates), I prefer eating food (especially chocolates). I play Violin, Piano and Guitar to varying standards - I like music. I like movies. I like lots of things. I have a garden - I grow fruit and vegetables, which I cook, then eat.
