What is Plagarism
Plagiarism means presenting some else work or ideas as your own without giving reference to the owner of the work or idea.
Plagiarism is a serious offense and should be stopped, it's like a form of dishonesty.

We should all stop Plagiarism because it like an act of stealing and also implies that someone is incapable or don't have the ability to create ideas.

Types of Plagiarism
There are four types of Plagiarism which are

• global Plagiarism
• self Plagiarism
• mosaic Plagiarism
• copy and paste Plagiarism

Global plagiarism

means presenting someone entire work or written by someone as your own e.g writing your name on a paper of an essay claiming you are the one that wrote it.

Self Plagiarism- means using part of your previous post in another place e.g like posting your work in a community in Steem in another community.

mosaic Plagiarism - this occurs when someone uses various ideas, passage from different source to create a resemblance of other people work without proper citation, in other words, means using ideas of another person from different source without giving proper citation to the owner.
Moreover, the statement are new but the words are not new, this type of Plagarism can be accidental or deliberate, this also occurs majorly in student when given assignment or research topic, in which the student picks authors main idea and replace it with few words so as to pass and also claim that it's their idea, we should all stop that.

copy and paste Plagiarism -this type of Plagiarism happens, when someone especially occurs with student and its more of a deliberate act, it means direct copying a passage from a source without a citation.
If you want to use someone else exact word, you need to quote the source and cite it correctly.

CITING

To cite correctly, we should always cite the source when quoting , paraphrase, or summarize, and use the necessary markdown and citation

When we want to use the exact phrase we should always use the quotation sign.
