INTRODUCTION

Good evening all, today I want to share with you how I can keep my keys save ad what and what I know about the platform..

Question 1

Have you retrieve all your keys on steemit?

Yes, I have retrieve all my keys on steemit, immediately my account was created I was told by my mentor store them offline. I retrieve it though my PDF file..

Question2

Do you know each of these key functions and restrictions

Yes I know all my keys functions and restrictions, I will be starting with my private key..

private key:

This key is used for login into your account, for commenting, resteem, voting, following a user account, edit or even to mute someone.

Active key:

This is another important keys, it's functions is to transfer streem tokens to another user account, it's also use for powering down and powering up your steem token, we can use it for converting Steem Dollars and voting for witnesses,

memo key:

Memo key is used for encrypting and decrypting memos when transferring funds.

owner key:

This key is meant to be used when necessary, it is used to recover a compressed account..

master key: The master password is the password one gets upon signing up, it's used to generate all the other keys including the owner key.

Question 3

How do you plan to keep your master password?

I was told that if I misplaced my master password automatically I have lost my account, so for me I plan to store it offline, with that is is secured.. the word offline is that I can store it in my pdf file or copy it out safely..

Question 4

Do you know how to transfer your steem token to another steem user account

Yes that is simply to be done, because it was showed to me by my mentor. Here are the steps to take when doing this transaction....

Firstly I login to my steemit account with the used of my private posting key, in My profile I will click on wallet and it will take me to another page which will require my private active key, I will then use my private active key and insert my username name, from there I will have to click on the arrow then I I click on it, when I do that, transfer, power up, trade and market will display, the correct to click is transfer.

Question 5

Do you know how to power up your STEEM?

Powering up is quite simple, to do that you follow the same steps like transferring tokens to another user account, the only this to do is to click on that little acon in your liquid STEEM, when you do that transfer, transfer to savings, power up,market and trade will display, this time you don't click on transfer you click on power up.

When I click on power up, I will input the amount of STEEM I want to power up, this time I don't need to input a user name, my user name is already automatically stored there, I just need to input the amount I want to power up, after that I clicked on power up and ok, when that is done my powering up is done..
