My Introduction Post to Steemit|| Mentorship by @cryptokannon

Hello, ladies and gentlemen of the house! I'm highly pleased and privileged to meet you all here on this noble platform. Here is the introduction of myself: My name is Mrs Flora Adaku Onyema. I am 34years old, and a mother of two lovely kids. I have been married since 7years ago. I am the second of the five children of my parents but, their only daughter! I am a native of Ezinihitte Mbaise Local Government Area(L.G.A.) of Imo State of Nigeria and married to a native of Imo State too but, from a different L.G.A.(Aboh Mbaise). I grew up, and schooled in Imo State. I also settled in Imo State with my family.

AREA OF STUDY OR WORK
I was privileged and oppurtuned to pass through primary, secondary and higher education. I was admitted to study Agricultural Engineering in the faculty of Engineering of Federal Polytechnic Nekede Owerri, Imo State in 2008. After my ND program in 2009, I did my Industrial Training(IT) at Nigerian Bottling Company(NBC) Kaduna. After my IT there, I secured a job at Wazobia fm Port Harcourt and worked there for two years before I decided to come back for my HND program which I completed in 2015.

When I was doing my HND1 program in 2014, I got married to my beloved husband that same year. I have always believed in being respectful and hardworking. That was why immediately after my graduation in 2015, and after giving birth to my second child in 2016, I started working with an Insurance Company(Mutual Benefit Assurance Plc). I worked with them as a marketer, which I did for a year, and stopped because, I wanted to set up my own business. While working with different companies I mentioned above, I realized that being self employed is what I need as a wife and mother for me to have enough time for my husband and children. That was why I started developing the spirit of entrepreneurship which I later brought to reality when I did undergo a training on processing of oil bean. When we did entrepreneurship as a borrowed course while in school, we were taught that an entrepreneur monitors his environment closely to identify the needs or problems of people there, provides a solution to them and makes money. I applied that principle and it worked for me!

I realized that Owerri has many joints and eateries where people troop in their numbers for relaxation and enjoyment. One of the delicacies enjoyed in those eateries is oil bean. During the course of my inquiries, I realized that owners of those eateries buy oil bean from people who bring it to Owerri from their respective villages outside Owerri. I then decided to be processing oil bean right in Owerri, and to add an incentive to them which is supplying/distributing it to their various joints and centres thereby saving them the cost of transportation and stress. That initiative really paid well as I now have many customers I process oil bean and supply to.

HOBBIES AND PASSION
Watching television programs especially Zeeworld is one of my hobbies. I also enjoy singing which is another hobby of mine. Whenever I listen to songs or sing myself, my spirit is uplifted. I have passion for cooking, and that my husband appreciates so much. If I'm not happy, the easiest approach my husband adopts in order to put me back to a happy mood is to give me money to cook anything. That's to explain to you the level of passion I have for cooking. The passion I have for cooking has had a good impact on my husband. Imagine a situation whereby my doesn't eat outside no matter what!

MY EXPERIENCE WITH CRYPTO
Frankly speaking, I have no experience with crypto but, I do hear people talk about it. It is because of how often people talk about it that I became more interested in knowing about it.

DISLIKE
For now, I don't have any dislike. I have learnt to make room to accommodate whatever each day brings as humans may not always live up to expectations. Making mistakes is our imperfect human nature.

HOW YOU FOUND STEEMIT AND WHAT YOU HOPE TO ACCOMPLISH HERE
I got to know about Steemit through my sister and friend @ngoenyi. Since this platform is cryptocurrency friendly, I am looking forward to gaining a wider knowledge of cryptocurrency here and to use the knowledge to help others.

Conclusively, I remain grateful to @ngoenyi for not passing me by with the information about Steemit and her consistent support and mentoring to me in this noble platform. Finally, I am also grateful to @cryptokannon and @focusnow for their assistance to me and other newborns on this platform.
