Hello my beautiful steemians. Firstly, I want to thank this platform for voting for me in my introductory post, and I am here to write on my achievement 2 Task that is Basic Security on Steemit.

First of all what is security, security simple means when your house is been secure with either with a gate man or with a police dog.

Have you retrieve all your keys on Steemit?

Yes, I have retrieve all my keys in Steemit and they are in my Possession, They are posting, active, owner and memo keys and master password.

QUESTION 2

Do you know each of these key functions and restrictions.

Yes, I know their functions and restrictions. After registration I was ask to go through them carefully and understood all the keys used on Steemit.

The functions and restrictions of these keys are:

Master password:
It is used to create new keys, with these you can change your keys password

Posting key
Posting key is use to have access into your account, with this key you have access to upvote comment in other people post. Without the posting key you can't access your account so it is advice to keep it safe.

Active key
Active key is most important key, it is use to have access to wallet, with this key you can use it to transfer funds to any body and it is use power up, that is why I store it in a very safe place.

Owner key
Owner keys has the power to all other keys, if you misplaced your keys you can now use owner key to recover your lost account. So it is advice we keep it safe.

Memo key
These keys is not all that important because it is use for encrypting and decrypting messages .

How do plan to keep you Master password

I wrote down my master password and keep it safe in my box.

Do you know how to transfer steem?

Yes, i know how to make transfer and here are my procedure. When your log in into your wallet you press the small button behind your steem then click on it you wish to transfer then you transfer any amount you wish to transfer after inserting the person's name and their amount
Here are the steps I took.

After checking my wallet I put down the person name and the amount I wish to transfer.

Then I press ok

Do you know how to power your steem?

Yes, I know how to power up my steem to steem power once I enter my account I click on the small bottom and then click on the power up. Steem power is the act of savings for future purposes.

Once you log into through your account through your active key then you click on the small arrow besides you steem and then click power up. After then you power up your steem then press ok
