Achievement 5 – Task 4 by @vanessageorge: Review Steemdb.io

Task number 4, the last one of Achievement 5. This achievement and all its tasks haven’t been, personally, the most enjoyable to create, but I have to confess, I had learn a lot by doing them! Now is time to understand and review steemdb.io, a block explorer and database for the Steem blockchain.

The Recent Blockchain Activity is in the SteemDB section and it displays the most recent irreversible blocks. The information is presented by the Height, Transactions, and Operations. On the Height, you can see the date and time of the transaction.

SteemDB allows you to check different activities like posts, votes, reblogs, replies, rewards, transfers, and so on. The information is updated every 4 weeks and as my user is newer than that I didn’t find it using the search bar. What I did was add my user to the SteemDB address to find the information: https://steemdb.io/@vanessageorge

In the same section, under Social, if you drop down the tag you can click on Reblogged and be able to see who has reblogged your post. I will be able to see this information once my user information has been updated on the platform. You can also review the Followers and the Following users.

Another piece of information, easy to see using this tool is the Voting Power. It is shown on the account section, in real-time, by a green percentage bar. This is the current Voting Power for my account:
