Achievement2:Basic security on steemit

Hello every body ..............., Hope everyone is doing well.

It's my pressure to meet up with you all from here and discuss about the security as well as the purposes of different keys on steemit .
As I am completing a full week on steemit,i have researched about the security of steemit and i hereby share with you in a preliminary level as herein under.

When our country representative @yohan2on visted Masaka my area of residence , He trained us about different things on steemit including the security part of it. Then helped me to signup for steemit account of which after the process of signing up i received an email consisting of a number of keys inside it .i was required to download the keys as a pdf which i also did.
Checking in my downloaded pdf, i was able to see different keys in one document which i felt to be so important for me because i knew that steemit is based on block chain of crypto currency so needs much privacy by any user.

so i made a hard copy and i searched for their full purposes. As :

1. Private Posting Key :Use to login to the app, posting,voting and resteem. we usually use this key for daily activities or primary tasks.

2. Private Memo Key :This key is used to encrypt and decrypt private transfer memos.

3. Private Active Key : This is used for financial related tasks such as monetary and wallet related actions . Also you can use this key if you want transfer tokens or power up|down STEEM, then you may use this key.

4. Private Owner Key : This key is at high level of its importance because it will be used to reset all other keys. It will be really dangerous if this key is got by someone else. if your account is compromised, this key can be used to recover the account.

5. Master Password : This is the Most important key !!! This is the master . It is used to generate other keys.

What comes if my | your master key is gotten by an hacker? He obviously becomes the owner of the account making you a spectator!!! This is so worrying and painful to loose an account in which you have invested all your time. Loosing your steemit account to an hacker as a result of you not being serious or careful is so unfortunate !! Actually very terrible!!

Its like being an ocean swimmer of all seasons and then die in a swimming pool!!!
VALUE YOUR KEY AND KEEP IT SAFE ALWAYS AND EVER............

So as i described herein above, security on master key is very important . printing it out and keep it safe is the best option for me although there are many secured personal digital lockers in air | internet .

Here is how to transfer the steem token to another different steem user

1. Click on wallet

1. Select what is to be transferred and click on the drop down.
2. Select Transfer.

1. Fill the details (For the Receiver) then click on Next and comfirm transfer.

How to power up
1.Follow the steps 1 and as mentioned then select power up , click power up
Convert to steem power and put the amount and actually it will be showing the balance down.
