My introduction post to steemit platform mentorship by @mesola

My name is Eyo Victoria uwem. A citizen of Nigeria, an indigen of Akwa ibom state
I'm the oldest amongst three children, 16 years old in a family of five.

I am from Nkim itam in itu local government area, where my paternal cousins are from as well. It is suprising I've never visited there which I don't intend on going because I go to my mom's village frequently and enjoy going there too, therefore not seeing the need to visit my village.

I am from a family where my dad is very strict to a point where I wonder if he really is my dad. On the other hand my mom is a very peaceful, kind and amazing person. She's also very easy to talk to without me feeling intimidated or scared of being shouted on.

With her most times I have no fear of being scolded or beaten upon the slightest mistake.
She takes time to understand what I'm going through and correct my wrongdoings amicably without seeing the need for being cruel.

I have a closer relationship with my maternal relatives, as a result of their kindness and support they give to me, inspiring me to reach and attain my dreams.

I wrote the just concluded waec and neco this year, leaving me as a young school leaver.
Growing up I had so many ambitions, I wasn't settled on what I wanted to become. Most young children today wish to become either a doctor or lawyer of you ask them, back then I was among them.

As time went on I began to think through each of this career paths, which one is best for me, the one I can do better and eventually settled with one. Hence I chosed to be a science student.
I aspire to be a nurse in the future, hopefully I'm oppportuned to achieve my dreams.

I believe that life is not a bed of roses. One can only make it to the top with determination, zeal and hardwork. One cannot just wake up one day and becomes successful all of a sudden without hardwork or dedication to something hoping for a better result. I hope to become successful in life, a person my parents or relatives will be proud of. I believe with zeal and hardwork I will succeed.

As a teenager I love playing games, reading novels and watching various movies during my leisure time. Most times if I am bored I make my siblings hair if rough to kill boredom, I guess that's a hobby as well. I also see dresses in my mom's shop, it's something I love doing as well.

During weekends I and my sister's try something new like baking if the ingredients needed are available, it's fun to do different things to learn and experience how most things works. We also try creating nice snacks with just few ingredients.

Currently I have no experience in crypto,this should be the first platform I'll be joining. As a young girl crypto is not something I come across in my daily life.
Hopefully as i progress I'll be a skilled person in this platform.

I love posts that are funny, inspirational and educational. At times one needs to take a break from all the anxieties of his or her daily life. Viewing those kind of posts makes one relax and be more calmer, if perhaps one had a rough day.

I recall a day I was having a presentation in class, I was felt so tensed and all, very nervous as well. Well while preparing, because of over anxiety I decided to take a break and calm my nerves by going online. Viewing posts that motivates and educates helped me calm down, as well as brace myself for my presentation.

I saw posts that made me smile, laugh and release the negative energy in me. I saw a particular post that helped me become more confident about myself. It helped me relax before the presentation, as well as motivate me and keep me happy before the presentation.

So viewing posts that are funny and motivating helps one a lot, It makes one more happier and encouraged. Imagine someone annoyed you badly, maybe someone way older than you, it might be a parent or relative, viewing those kind of posts help to take your mind off things, reducing conflicts and making you see the greater good afterwards.

With regards to what I like and feel will interest and benefit my viewers, I'll be creating posts that are funny, motivate, educate and inspire my viewers to learn new things as well. It's not easy to be creative most times but gradually one learns how to do so which I intend on doing.

I got introduced to steemit by my mom's friend, who listed out the benefits of being a member.
We didn't believe her at first, we were very doubtful if what she told us is true.
She encouraged us to try it out and eventually we decided to give it a try.

By joining steemit, I hope to improve my creativity, develop more aesthetics as well as broaden my horizon. I trust that I will have a great and wonderful experience in this platform.
