Achievement 2 @victorudefi task:basic security on steem

Security is very important in everything one does,take for instance , so many countries have different forces that guide and protects the citizens of that country.
Without security, I don't know what the world would have turned into,because they help in maintaining peace and unity in the country.
By the way,steemit account security is very important. Now it is time for us to lay emphasis on some of the importance of our keys,with response to some of the questions asked regarding achievement 2.
Here are my answers

QUESTION 1

Have you retrieved all your keys on steemit?
Yes I have done that. I did it long ago when I first signed up to my steemit account . It is very simple to retrieve those keys,just enter your wallet on the steemit website using the master key.

Do you know each of these keys,functions and restrictions?
Yes I do very well,here is the detailed information on the functions and restrictions on the keys

THE POSTING KEY

I think this is the most used of all the keys, it is used to comment on posts,submit articles for posting,change posts and comments,follow another account.With this one can see that the function of this key is ambiguous.Without this keys,one cannot do any of the listed things above.

THE ACTIVE KEY

This key is mainly used to power up or power down ones account,transfer tokens,you can vote for witness,you can also edit your profile information here. Note,creation of market and conversion of steem to dollar can be done here.

THE MASTER KEY

I think this is the most important of all the keys,this key is used to make changes on ones account.One needs to be very careful with this key because if someone invades your account without you knowledge,he can make any change he wants on the account and can even delete the account if he wish to.

MEMO KEYS

Notes can be encrypted and decrypted with the memo key.when transferring payments,you make use of the memo key to decrypt or encrypt momos.
So in summary,it is advisable to back up your keys.

QUESTION 4

Do you know how to transfer your steem token to another stem account?
Yes I know how is done. Just log into steemit wallet using your active key,click on stem under steem dollar,and it will display an icon on your screen ,now click on transfer and it will take you to another page on that page,you will see two boxes one telling you to input the number of token you wish to transfer and the other telling you to input the account you wish to transfer to. Once you are done with this, the transaction will be completed. Below is the simple illustration.

Do you know how to power up your steem?
Yes I can do that. This is the simple illustration on how is done.

Click on steem under steem power
But note,your voting power and steem reward depends on how much power you have,power up of your steem and the 50% post reward are two ways of acquiring steem.powering down steem longer than powering up steem.powering down takes up to a month while powering up steem takes just few minutes .
