National zoological Garden is a great place for the kids.

National zoological Gardens of sri lanka founded in 1936.The 200 exhibits animals but also places an exmphasis on animal conservation and welfare,and education.

We traveled zoological garden with my little son.It was our first ever visit with him the zoological garden and we were lucky to see it.

Their is a special children park for the kids.it was including every play items for kids.it was a remarkable and marvelous place to them.our son was very happy to see it.

he played many playing games with us.so fun and crazy time with him.

We enjoyed the park very much with our family.we saw many children are playing in their.even had lunch tables to take meals for the people.every body can say it is a such a lovly place to take foods.

A very special protection syestems are used their for kids play items,and few workers were working in their as children helpers.

The dehiwala national zoo,which has a remarkable collection of exotic and indigenous fauna,is one of the oldest zoos in Asia. Currently DEhiwala zoo houses 72 sprcies of Mammals,65 species of Birds,31 species of Reptiles,89 species of fish,03 families of Amphibians and 30 species of Butterflies etc.

The total number of animals varies from 2500-3000 due to breeding and free living colonies of birds.Annually,over one and half million local and foreign tourists visit the zoo.and over 2000 students visit for educational purposes.
