TYPES OF PLAGIARISM

  • MOSAIC PLAGIARISM: This can be seen as a type of Plagiarism whereby the writers work patch up the word by using most different word to gain more clarity.
It can also be seen as the act of using the synonyms of the word been written just to make it look original.

  • DIRECT PLAGIARISM: This can also be seen as copy and paste Plagiarism. It is when the writers steals exactly the same writing without citing any word and paste it on a new page or writing material then try to pass it off as their own although one word or two can be changed, but it is too much to be considered paraphrase Plagiarism. It is so obvious that direct Plagiarism is been done on purpose because the words are been written down exactly how the writer wrote it down.

  • INCREMENTAL PLAGIARISM: This type of Plagiarism is normally used in the universe. It has close description to that of mosaic plagiarism style. Although the different is that the work is not been mixed with a new language.
When you increment a work the work remains the same throughout the new writing.

  • SOURCE-BASE PLAGIARISM: This type of Plagiarism refers to when a writer has two different sources and decides to reference one.
Like the name implies "source" simply means where a point is gotten from.
And I must that the worst type of Plagiarism is when source are been framed.

  • SELF OR AUTO PLAGIARISM: This can be seen as the act of copying from your old work to form an exact writing into a new page. Most people feels that self Plagiarism is not harmful but it is because the writer needs to think off another point or source. Some one who is involved in self Plagiarism is cramming his or her work which is not good to cram but to understand the point.
Auto Plagiarism is harmful because when writing on a webpage like Google, etc you can restricted for writing the same thing.

  • ACCIDENTAL PLAGIARISM: Most times plagiarism is not an act been done on purpose. But it can also be called plagiarism when someone steals another person's writing without listing their source, improperly quote the key pionts. Just because the neglecting or mistaken quotation was accidental doesn’t mean that plagiarism hasn’t been committed. It is always good to check any write up and when in doubt, give your point credit.
