Achievement 4 by @youngkay94 : APPLYING MARKDOWNS

I just got verification for the task 3 on Achievement posts for newcomers and moving unto the next which is task 4 with topic of how we can apply markdowns.

To properly Understand what we are applying it is only proper to know what markdowns actually mean.

Markdowns can be seen as a way to make our work generally look better and more stylish. Different combinations of markdowns when applied properly makes our post look a look nicer, easier to read and also attractive to the potential reader.

EXPLAINING SOME MARKDOWNS

Markdowns come in a lot of forms which I'll be explaining some and how it can be applied here on steemit. From italics, bolden, centralizing texts, making tables, creating headlines there is a lot of range to pick from but I'll be picking some to explain here.

1 HEADLINE

Headlines are usually carrying a topic or subtopic at the beginning of explaining something.
To create an headline you Simply add double ## at the beginning of your text.

Example

## YOUNGKAY IS THE NEW MARKETING MANAGER

It would look like this

YOUNGKAY IS THE NEW MARKETING MANAGER

Also the font size can be reduced in each subsequent headline by continuously adding an #

Example

## YOUNGKAY IS THE NEW MARKETING MANAGER

### YOUNGKAY IS THE NEW MARKETING MANAGER

It would look like this

YOUNGKAY IS THE NEW MARKETING MANAGER

YOUNGKAY IS THE NEW MARKETING MANAGER

2 MAKING A TEXT CENTRALIZED

You can put a text in the center of the page you're working on by imply using the code below to align it to the middle.

At the Begining we add <> center is written in between

At the middle we add the text we intend to be seen.

At the end we add < > and center written in between but with a forward dash / after the first <.

Example

Also we can use this with the headline code to make a headline which is centralized.

3 BOLDEN A TEXT

I already explained how to create an headline before now, this can also do the same job but the difference to note is that this can be used anywhere within a sentence.
Double asterisk is added both at the beginning of the text and the end of the text

Example

YOUNGKAY IS THE NEW MARKETING MANAGER

You can see here that only the text Youngkay was bolden.

APPLICATION OF THE MARKDOWNS

To show the application of markdowns I will be explaining using a simple post.

There's a lot of energy which we use in our today's world as we continue to advance in Technology different forms have continued to be discovered over time.

Nigeria my country is one which is very much dependent on Crude Oil, and is also a big exporter in the world.

But we the citizens cannot really say we have actively enjoyed the benefits of having such a commodity that is highly appreciated everywhere.

Prices of fuel like diesel and petrol have over time continued to increase gradually in the present administration which we find ourselves.

So far it has been nothing but pain for average Nigerians.
Below is a table showing the price of petrol and kerosene in an ascending order of five year Intervals.

The information above shows that over the years there have been a steady increase in the price of petroleum products but there was a sharp increase since the beginning of this present administration.

Price for a litre paid by consumers of kerosene increased from 361.29 naira for March to 362.68 naira for April.
