Hello to all my dear readers! I hope you are all feeling wonderful. Today we will continue with the fulfillment of the fourth and last task of Achievement 5 for newcomers. This time we will talk about the most trusted browser currently developing the Steem Blockchain: Steemdb.io. Read on to learn more!
Done by me in Canva.
What is steemdb.io?
Steemdb.io is a program belonging to the Steem Blockchain that has the necessary tools to explore the database and get all kinds of information about our Blockchain. It was created by @ray.wu and so far it is the most reliable browser with which you can get true information about the activity in Steem. Through this program you can observe Bitcoin values, activities within the Blockchain accounts, operations concerning witnesses and experimental projects in the lab session.
As in the previously studied tools, using this page it is possible to find useful information about our Steemit account, such as voting power, latest rewards, latest reblogs, etc. However, Steemdb.io is characterized by being extremely simple to use, so you don't need to be an expert to be able to access its most basic and important functions.
How do I access my Steemit account information through steemdb.io?
By simply entering the address of steemdb.io you will be able to access this page. Immediately the main menu will open, which looks as follows:
However, to observe the information regarding our account on the Blockchain it is necessary to go to the search bar and add to the address your username as follows:
https://steemdb.io/@yourusername.
For example, in my case:

We will see that we are directed to the "accounts" session where all this information about our Steemit profile is stored. Then a series of options will be displayed, which we will describe below:
1. Recent History
Done by me in Canva.
Immediately we access our account information using the link shown above, by default it will show us our history of the last 30 days of activity, accompanied by a graph describing each of the activities.
Scrolling down the page, we will see the list of the last activities we have performed on the Blockchain.
2. Checking activities
Done by me in Canva.
Click on the "activity" button. A bar will appear with the following items: posts, votes, replies, reblogs, rewards and transfers.
If we click on each of these options, a graphic will be displayed describing the respective activity, accompanied by a list of the last actions performed. In my case, it is shown as follows for each of the items:
- Posts:
- Votes:
- Rewards:
- Reblogged:
- Replies:
3. Checking social
Done by me in Canva.
This time we click on "social". In this session you will see the items: followers, following and reblogged.
As before, if we access any of these three options, a graph will be displayed with the relevant data and a list of the last actions performed.
- Followers:
- Following:
- Reblogged:
4. Voting Power
Done by me in Canva.
To check the voting power through steemdb.io, it is as simple as seeing a box on the right side of the screen (in the accounts session, with our account logged in) where there is general information about the balance of our profile: SP, STEEMS and SBD.
Above this, in a percentage bar, we can see our voting power. Depending on the percentage, it can be red, yellow or green. In my case, it is in green, and specifies that I can use 94.64% for voting.
Thank you very much for reading my fulfillment of the fifth achievement. Special thanks to @cryptokannon for raising this constructive dynamic where we can learn more about Blockchain and to @sumit71428 for verifying each of my tasks. Thank you very much!
