THE PERSIAN SILK TREE

It was introduced in Europe in the mid-18th century ...

... it grows well in Mediterranean region ... and it has lovely fluffy flowers.

I see this at times in Vancouver too. We call it mimosa.

We also :) I learned this other, longer name only yesterday while writing this short post.

This is a pretty and unusual flower.
