It's the first time I'm having this type post, the #whereonwednesday one, and hope I will not screw it. I got inspired to do something like this by @balticbadger, with his hunting one and it somehow came as a coincidence because I just got a call from my father today telling me that he found a bigger house to rent and he would take it, if I were to move there...
Now, I was thinking of such a move since last year, but being an overthinker and a too cautious bitch sometimes, I said... wait for a while, because to be honest I don't think that the economy will get back on track that soon, and getting into a bigger rent it's not a smart mover during current times, if you ask me. Moreover I can't even get there for the moment because the borders are closed, and even when they get open I don't know exactly what will be the requirements to be able to get out of the country.
If there will be some sort of a vaccine I will politely pass it... Another thing that holds me back is work... If I get there I will have to work because I doubt this blog and my crypto holdings will be able to sustain me for too long, and to live on my parents back at over 30... kind of sucks. Having these shitty health issues as well I'm not inclined to get to factory work too soon, because that's what I would definitely be able to get, considering my qualifications and German language proficiency.
Enough with the hand braking thoughts though and let's talk about the Tiny Austria, and to be more precise the tiny Wieselburg, where my parents currently live. It's a bit smaller than my current town residence, my home town, but a cleaner one and more quiet one for sure...with a tough German language.
I know that because I've been there in Deecember, 2018 and I tried speaking with the locals. Almost mission impossible. My German language according to the Goethe Institute is some stretched B1, so I'm not that good, but if you speak what the Germans call hochdeutsch I can understand quit a lot and I can express myself on general topics, so I'm not flat with this language.
In Austria, even in Vienna, people don't really speak everywhere hochdeutsch and in small villages and countryside their dialect is even worse. Well, worse for me. But the country is beautiful, and to be honest I liked it more than I liked Germany, but not as much as Norway, which I always praise for its magnificent landscapes and consider the best I lived in, yet. It's probably that I only saw a small part of Austria that I didn't get the taste of it that much.
But it's my type of country, and Wieselburg would be my type of town. It has a river where I can fish, I guess because I don't know the regulation in there, it has nice surroundings for walks, lovely and gentle people, quite a good economy and it's relatively close to my home town. Less than 900 km till here, so you can easily drive your way home, because going on plane you would loose more time getting to airports and back, them being not exactly close to any of the two towns.
The pictures were taken in winter, hence the nature not being too green, and you might even see some Christmas decorations in there but, over all I liked the place. And it's also somehow located, that you can visit quite many beautiful destinations in Austria. I'm not skiing, but there are probably ski slopes in the vicinity as well. Living there however would definitely make this blog more vivid.
Not getting too boring and making this post a small novel, like I did with this shit right here that turned out to be a total waste of time, despite having high expectations from it, I will say that Austria sounds good for a where on Wednesday, and even for loving some years there, but for now lets see how we get out of the lock down.
It all happened out of a sudden but, we're getting gradually and I can only wish to get out of it healthier and with all my freedoms intact.
Thanks for attention,
Adrian
